During the last 30 years, I've taught a range of writing courses and genres, including technical writiing, composition, and fiction writing, as well as a variety of literature and interdisciplinary courses. I became one of a handful of early adopters of technology in the writing classroom at Mercer University in 1990 and have evolved professionally along with the media and the pedagogy they give rise to and/or have transformed. My research and professional interests also include writing across the disciplines. Currently, I'm in the early stages of writing a novel and opening an online business, Flowers & Flowers Books and Music, with my 10-year-old granddaughter.
