I first became interested in the digital humanities through my work with Feminist Pedagogy. I later expanded it to Womanist Pedagogy and began trying to include technology as a process of community creation and knowledge sharing. Through this work I began doing work that was considered as a part of the digital humanities. I was literally told, "hey! what you're doing is DH," and began to search for a community of other scholars doing similar work. I currently maintain a tumblr page for a community of feminist/womanist pedagogues and am seeking ways to bring DH to students via scholarly communities.
