Crystal Renfro
My undergraduate degree was in Mathematics and Spanish. From there, I worked in the insurance industry for 20 years as an actuary who tested computer systems. I have two Master's Degrees, one in Actuarial Science from Georgia State, and one in Library Science from Southern CT State University. I have worked at Georgia Tech since 2004 as a reference librarian, subject librarian and Faculty Engagement librarian. My interest in Personal Knowledge Management began several years ago when I heard a presentation by Elizabeth Shields (who is also presenting here). Elizabeth, Mary Axford (my co-presenter) and I are in the process of developing a Personal Knowledge Management blog for Librarians and other academics interested in information literacy.
